Our Mission: Develop youth to use their voice, become critical thinkers and positively influence social change
Goals:
  • Encourage youth to create solutions
  • Encourage youth to bridge the gap between themselves and their communities
  • Cultivate a greater awareness for health & wellness
Requirements:
  1. 8th-11th graders (non-traditional and home schooled students also accepted)
  2. Student must be able to commit to virtual weekly evening seminars from 7:00pm-8:15pm
  • September: 21,28

  • October: 5,12,19,26

  • November: 2, 9,16, 30

  • December: 7, 14

  1. Student must have two (2) letters of recommendation
    • 1 from a peer​
    • 1 from an adult
  2. Student must submit one of the following items on the topic of why youth voice matters OR how youth can change their community to ps1@rccsav.org:
    • 250 word essay
    • 1-2 minute video
    • Slide presentation (5 slide minimum)
  3. The desire to make a difference in your community.
