Our Mission: Develop youth to use their voice, become critical thinkers and positively influence social change
  • Encourage youth to create solutions
  • Encourage youth to bridge the gap between themselves and their communities
  • Cultivate a greater awareness for health & wellness
  1. Of Middle/High school age (non-traditional and home schooled students also accepted)
  2. Student must be able to commit the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10:00a-1:00p
  3. Student must have two (2) letters of recommendation
    • 1 from a peer​
    • 1 from an adult
  4. Student must submit either:
    • A 300 word essay, a 5 minute video, OR a PowerPoint (7 slide minimum) on the topic why youth voice matters OR how youth can change their community
    • A service project with documentation OR
    • A panel interview with LIT facilitators and members
  5. Clean discipline records for the year
Limited to 30 youth participants
