Virtual Camp Thrive 2021

Camp Thrive’s goal is to help girls grow, flourish, and THRIVE by providing empowerment and education on topics such as self-esteem, healthy relationships, empowerment, coping skills, health and wellness, and cyber safety/responsibility.

The camp will only be open to middle and high school girls. The activities offered will focus on teaching them how to take care of themselves, physically, mentally and emotionally, make them more aware of their boundaries, and discuss what healthy relationships look like. In addition, we aim to help them build and maintain positive self-esteem so they feel confident enough to speak up for themselves while also being an advocate for others. Topics will be addressed through presentations, arts and crafts and interactive workshops.

Camp will be held virtually via Zoom meetings May 24th-May 28th. Participants must have access to an  internet connection and be able to access Zoom via the website zoom.us or the Zoom app. There is no cost to attend. Parents will be given more information about picking up the needed supplies from a designated location prior to the start of the camp. Once your registration is received parent/guardian will receive an email with a link to read and sign a consent form and waiver. For more information call 912-233-3000 or email counselor@rccsav.org.
